Our Learn-WiSE member programs provide hands-on, cutting-edge learing from the most technical and driven men and women technologists in the field with exceptional engagement for networking, recruiting and career guidance.
We cater to women+ engineers, technical product/project/program managers, developers, users, system administrators, Open Source contributors, scientists, mathematicians, and geeks.
Thrive-WiSE pioneered the “hyper-technical” conference where technical women would find high-quality content taught by developers (men and women) with a focus on technical, PM and career growth. In its 7th consecutive year with 1000+ attendees from 16 countries, Micro Conference is an energizing, inspiring and educational conference of keynotes, hands-on workshops, seminars, revolutionary Thrive-WiSE Safe SpaceTM panels, Anti-Racism training, networking and fun!
Our peer-to-peer group mentoring sessions provide a space for women in technology to share and learn from each other’s experiences, gain insight and support, cope with the challenges brought on by COVID-19 and advance in their careers.

Contributions to vetted open source projects shepherded by SRI International provide opportunities to showcase talent unrestricted by proprietary company policies. Thrive-WiSE offers members opportunities to leverage open source to catapult their careers to the next level.
Our hands-on Learn-WiSE learning sessions emphasize active learning.
Our learning programs include face-to face (Virtual during the COVID-19 pandemic) workshops, panel discussions and talks on programming languages, Open Source involvement, development frameworks, hardware, DevOps, technical PM and life as a woman in tech.
Our Career Center provides our Professional Tier members access to job listings and volunteer opportunities to build job credibility.
